My friend just passed me a book that his jc compiled for them for the A levels last year and it's really good. The book comprises all the arguements for and against of the topics we will be covering in GP for our A's in point form.

I'll bring the book to school so if you all want the book to photocopy and all, just come get it from me or if the whole class wants the book than maybe we can get it photocopied as a class for convenience since it requires binding also. Just tell me in school tomorrow k =)

A new year, a new start

Dear 06s05,

The year of 2006 has come to its end.

Thereby, this signifies the beginning of 2007.

2006 has not been exactly a smooth sailing ride for every single one of us, but at the very least, we're still alive and kicking. 2007 is the year that we would take our 'A' levels, and i would hope that everyone can stay healthy, and do their best for this National Exam.

Regardless of who was in our class in 2006 and what were some of the negative things that happened in 2006, i would sincerely hope that each and every one of us can put all the adverse issues that happened in the past at the back of their head, not simply forget them but, instead, take them as lessons well learnt.

We would be having new additions to our class, with new classmates and new teachers. I do wish that we can work well with each other, synergise and obtain the best results that we can. 2007 would not be a ride for the faint-hearted, but i can say this, if we stay united, we'll all move on ahead.

All the best for 2007, and have a happy new year!

hey guys... dan and me is at this tution center.. i just join.. aniway. the person say we can make up our own class.. min 5 ppl.. i went for the trial. it's quite good because the class is small, about 5 ppl. so if we have our own class we can arrange the dates and the topics we want him to teach. there isn't bio yet, but if u guys want they can provide us. they're MOE registered, so they'll follow the syllabys.

it's a jurong, boonlay. take 242 from boon lay. if you guys want.. we decide here then we can form a class. i'm going for chemistry. daniel is in the maths one..

it's 140 for one subj
130 per sub (for 2sub or more)
there's no registration fee, G.S.T, or whatso ever... it's just.. 140. once per week about 1hr 30mins plus per time. if there's sch questions u donno can stay back and ask. he's quite friendly and nice. they provide extra notes too. erm.. got any questions just ask me.. btw.. if u miss lessons you can request him for 1-to-1 make up lesson. good rite? haa

juz want to say that 06S05 will always stay as 06S05 no matter whether next year we have less ppl in the class there's no replacing the fun we had as a class this year. Azu's hilarious antics, asyikin's serious face and chang yu sleeping at the back of the class will still be a part of 06s05.

Class, I know that this is going to be a very stressful time for all of us, but as our teachers said Do Not Give Up. Always do your best because that way if anything happens you'll always know that you've tried your best. The worst thing is failing and knowing that you didn't put in your best. Be strong, we can ALL pull through this TOGETHER. Don't give up so soon and do believe in yourself.

A few days ago, i asked Silei the URL for the bio blog. I wanted to express my appreciation towards Miss Lim's efforts in us. I find her reply quite endearing and inspiring, so, i decide that i would post it up in this blog.

Well, i never thought she would issue a reply.... But, she still replied, and here is how it went.
florrie: S05, I will not give up on you...never =. But you mustn't give up on urself too. Its painful as a teacher to see U guys struggling. I wanna help so much but the 1st thing I want you to realize is you must want to help yourself 1st. DO NOT give up on urself 1st. I want to see S05 striving for the best still. Its not abt getting good grades. Its abt putting in ur best in everything that you do. Cheer up as a class yah. Don't do the best just for me but for urself...for ur future and of course not to disappoint every1 who really cares Rememeber a teacher will only scold and nag and do all sorts of crazy thing coz they care....if not it'll be so easy to be just a teacher!

Yes, we can finally at least heave a sigh of relief... The bio and math tests are over, and the painful mondays and tuesdays are gone... Rough week we had, but, stay strong!

I've got a little time to spare... So, today, i'll write on someone many of us know. Lemme see... Today, i'll talk abut Agent Pleakley. Wait, i think that most people would fail to recognise who i'm talking about here... There, here is a picture of Agent Pleakley Zhang Ziyi.

Yes, Pleakley here... Haiz.... Cannot stand it... I've never seen a worse Agent... It seems to be really from outerspace. There is a reason for it being one-eyed... This eye is used specifically to mark and tekan poor innocent people. I wonder how Pleakley ended up in this profession... Damn... Taxpayers money wasted on this kind of Shit.

Really, this is a true case of rampant biasness, useless lessons and shitty teaching.

No joke, the only thing i learnt from Pleakley is how to make a butt of jokes out of yourself...

My dear classmates,

Our nation has gone through forty-one years of development, and i am very happy to say, we've all survived this forty-one years, and i am sure that we will all continue to prosper. I'm here to congratulate our nation-state for having being able to commence successfully on this perilous journey, and survive, strong and able.

It's obvious, i'm overjoyed at my nations birthday, and i'm sure all of you would also rejoice with the rest of our nation on this joyous occasion. With that aside, i'll now go on to my topic today.

Yes, today, i'll talk about a special someone. It has been about five months since 06s05 was formed.

RECOLLECTIONS
We came from a dozen different schools,
though our dreams were all the same.
But, our hopes for better life were lost,
when war and invasion came.

We had no rights, we had no say,
And we longed to be free one day.

The war is still on. Can we ever stop it?

It has come to my attention that anti-colonial spirits have been at an all time high this few days, with our colonial master still unchanged. Our lives are quite painful. Today, i'll talk about our colonial master, Mr. Zero Expensive Wind.

Haiz, I tried to supress the anti-colonial feelings by reducing my own talk about it, and my attempts to tell everyone how good Mr. Zero is. But, it seems that it is really difficult to do so. Mr. Zero has been having too many problems with our entity. The many problems are very difficult and prickly issues...

We can learn from the LKY way, and drive out our colonial master, or we can learn it from the Hong Kong way, and work towards a more harmonious future.

I think the Hong Kong way is better... But, the game now lies largely in the hands of Mr. Zero. If he does not change himself, we are in a very difficult position to accept him and work well. However, i do have to note that there might be also problems in our attitude la....

Remember that computer period we had during our Power Work (PW) lesson? I thought then that Mr Zero had changed for the better. The snacks were really nice. Haiz, who would expect him to continue on his rampage... I really thought things were improving...

Nevertheless, i really hope that we can work well with him... If we don't, it will be very difficult for us to run smoothly. Our General Practicing (GP) will suffer too...

Okay, so, as a national day present, i'll attach along two articles that i previously written, but they are hidden in the class blog. You will need a password to access them...

today marks the start of the mid-year exams with our General Paper test. it was a farly easy paper and i'm sure none of us would come off that badly lah..hehe anyways the june "BREAK" is a very hectic "BREAK" so ppl do make sure u all drink lotsa water and prevent urself from geting sick lest u all do badly for the test...rem not to slp in instalments and to eat ur meals regularly yah! moreover do not forget to play and relax as well but rem to keep everything in balance....hehe ok enough of nagging , hope u all will study hard and do ur best in all ur papers...GAMBATE! we 06s05 can do it wan...Good luck and tkaire all

well, there seems to have been some mistake [or spamming], but our old blog was deleted... [stupid server] anyhow, i have decided to recreate this class blog of ours, there has been no major change, but for a start, i would expect a fresh new blog to have a fresh new start. so, let's lay down some ground rules ok?

[hahahaha, i tink this post is rather long...stated below are my explanations for the rules. i feel obliged to state them, so if u're not interested(i noe u're interested...CUZ I WROTE IT!!! =D) , pls fast forward to the summary]

it's come to my attention that the blog has morphed into a common "bitching ground" where we vent our frustrations about the teachers... ryt? =D now... tt seriously isn't very healthy... if you wish to comment on our teachers, please make sure that it is a constructive comment. please be just and fair in your assessment of the teacher, and most importantly, no personal attacks please... erm... posts about teachers are welcomed, cuz i'm sure we share the same sentiments. besides, it's entertaining... just make sure it contains no slander [this is to protect both you n the teacher] and i would recommend tt we employ the use of alias when doing so... ok? tt settled...

well, i must say, the two essays on our teachers are rather well written; they contain a large amount of truth as we know, but i dont think we cn have people go around criticizing people and not stand up for what they say. please claim credit for your work. i'm very serious about this, you might say i'm bitchy [ouch!], but if you sign off your post as an "anon", i [ and i authorise any member of our class] will delete your post. this serves a few purpose...
1. it makes u rethink what u are going to post. u claim credit for wat u say, n u bear responsibility for it; u wldnt say things tt will gt u, or the cls, into trouble eh?
